Cindy Lied, Soldiers Died!
Michelle Malkin notes that in the 18th paragraph of this Washington Post article that Cindy Sheehan lied about her meeting with President Bush.
In June of 2004 she said:
"I now know he's sincere about wanting freedom for the Iraqis," Cindy said after their meeting. "I know he's sorry and feels some pain for our loss. And I know he's a man of faith."
Just last week on August 7 of 2005, she said:
"Every time we tried to talk about Casey and how much we missed him, he would change the subject. And he acted like it was a party."
These sound like two completely different events, yet both describe Cindy Sheehan's one and only meeting with President George Bush.
The first describes the kind of encounter with President Bush had had with grieving military families many times before. Indeed, it seems consistent with the reactions of other families that met with President Bush at the same time as the Sheehan family. Not a single parent has ever reported anything similar to Cindy Sheehan's newest recollection of that night's events.
Cindy Sheehan will keep on lying to keep in front of the cameras until she get's her son's comrades-in-arms shot or bombed by insurgents encouraged by her message calling for a headlong United States retreat.
She's earned this.
I just posted a bit about CS on my blog. She has moved from tragic subject to leftist activist. Shut Up and Go Home
Posted by: patd95 at August 14, 2005 01:22 AMGee, I had no idea that Cindy had the power to send our troops to fight in an unnecessary war. If you people support Bush's cause so much why not enlist and fight for what you believe in. Otherwise, you STFU! You guys are just like your leader..Cowardly little pricks!! Who see nothing wrong with sending young Americans to their deaths in Iraq. This war is a lost cause, The Washington Post already reported that some within this Administration are convinced Iraq is not going to be a model of democracy.
Posted by: Rainlillie at August 14, 2005 02:10 PMI've always believed in truth and justice. I believe that you always have to do the right thing. I believe that you must help others when they need help. I believe that everyone regardless of race, religion or sexual preference should have the same rights. I believe that you don't have to go to church to have God within your heart. I believe that we must “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."
With all that being said, within the last few years, I have learned to feel something I've never felt before...HATE! I have never in my life felt so much anger and contempt for other human beings than I feel for the Bush Supporters. These people are the most vile, vicious, rotten human beings that God has ever placed on this planet. Nothing matters to them. Facts don't matter to them. Loyalty to ones party is more important to them than truth and integrity.
I just don't get it. Why do they continue to stand behind this Administration?? How in Gods name can they think everyone who comes out against Bush is wrong:
Dick Clark
Paul O'Neil
Joe Wilson
Hans Blitz
Cindy Sheehan.
How can they defend:
An unjustified war
A treasonous act ( Rove)
The mistreatment of prisoners (including murder and sodomizing young boys)
Changing data on Global Warming Reports
Withholding papers on Roberts
They're using 911 to justify their prejudices against Muslims and Arabs. That's why they don't see anything wrong with Invading Iraq. Bin Laden got away, but someone had to pay. Saddam was Arab and an easy target..Bush knew that Saddam would pacify his supporters for now. I hope myself and others on this side can learn to let the anger go, but I'm only human and we all have made mistakes and we all have flaws it seems..accept for GWB.

How can they defend:
An unjustified war
What was unjustifed, invading a country thought to have WMDs, invading a country that has a proven history of using WMDs, a country that was home to at least three well known terrorost groups, or deposing a dictator who killed more than a million people? Once again, little hippie, you prove my point. You practice genocide through pacifism. It is okay if little brown people die, just as long as it doesn't harsh your mellow.
A treasonous act ( Rove)
I don't think the act of merely being Rove is in itself a crime, though others on the politcal far left, like Stalin and Mao, certainly agreed with you that the existence of their enemies was a crime punishable by death.
The mistreatment of prisoners (including murder and sodomizing young boys)
The Republicans had this as part of our party platform? Funny, I didn't see that in the fine print. Murder did happen in Abu Ghraib, and the men responsible have been tried and convicted. Do you have a source for your sodomy accusations, or are you simply blowing smoke out your--well, you know.
Changing data on Global Warming Reports
Yeah, I defend that every day. (rolls eyes) Sorry, sweetheart, we've got better things to do.
Withholding papers on Roberts
Probably becuase every current and former living Soliciter General of the United States (Democrat and Republican-appointed; back to JFK) said those particular documents should remain private as they are attorney-client functions important to the overy operation of that office.

Hey Rainlillie, if your not a policeman you have no right to talk about crime. If your not a doctor you have no right to talk about health care. etc. Makes perfect sense.
"The Washington Post already reported that some within this Administration are convinced Iraq is not going to be a model of democracy."
Yikes, the oracle has spoken, it must be so.

Posted by: at August 14, 2005 06:41 PMFor rainlillie;
I spent 31 years wearing the uniform of our U.S.Army in such paradises as Vietnam, Central America and Southwest Asia (the first time). How many years have you spent in service to your country?
I've defended your right to espouse your hatred for me because I support our current president, But then, I literally supported presidents of Democrat and Repbulican persuasion (remember, 31 years in the Army?). I certainly do not HATE you as you have so elloquently claimed of me, but I do believe your heart has the capacity to love, that is if you truly believe you can have God in your heart without going to church.
One area you must understand about the war in Iraq - it is not about being lawful or unlawful (that was settled by the UN), it is about our way of life surviving the onslaught of a radical ideology (read islamofacist terrorists) that burns with a desire to kill you and me both. Why? Not because we are labelled as liberal or conservative or Democrat or Republican, but because we are NOT muslims - we are non-entities called infidels (both of us). If we do not bond together to defeat this enemy - we shall suffer an unintended consequence of a peace above all else ideology.
Think about it. It is NOT about politics. It is about individual and national survival.
God bless.
Posted by: John Yetter at August 15, 2005 02:35 PMMlk was willing to give up his freedom and his life for a cause he believed in. In the 60's blacks and whites a like stood on the front-lines and had fire-hoses turned on them, they were beaten and even killed...Yet they continued to fight. If Cons believe in Bush's cause so much, why aren't they willing to fight for it?
Instead of talking shit on a message board or riding around on a lameass bus, enlist and fight. Sean Hannity, Bill, O'Reilly even Ann the skank Coulter seem healthy enough to enlist, guys go for it!
