Today i posted this at CNN's website, "Have you no decency? Cease and desist immediately with you foolish attempt to gain the ability to dishonor the deceased by filming such operations. Your morbidity is second to none. You’ve earned the dubious honor of being the trash projectors making your organization truly a pseudo news network. Your inhumanity is astounding! Please stop before you shed the last bit of decency remaining in your network."

I was active duty Army stationed at Ft Campbell, KY when the API released and the Clarksville, TN hometown paper published on page one the picture of the half naked soldier's body being dragged through the streets of Mogadishu. I called the editor that day and really raised cain. I got the same insensitive left wing "it's news" tripe and immediately cancelled my subscription. THe family of that soldier lived in Clarksville, TN. The whole post and town came to a high hover over that "it's news" mantra. The Leaf Chronicle lost mega circulation that day.

If CNN is successful, perhaps they will lose enough circulation bust the network. That's at least a positive out of a potentially very indecent situation.

Sorry, joe but before I ended up in my eventual college major, I'd spent time studying geology and oceanography. Despite the fact that it might not be known to the all-knowing Oliver Willis or Duncan Black, we are in the Pleistocene Ice Age, which began 40 million years ago, and intensified within the last 3 million years.

As a matter of pure fact, we are in a interglacial period now but may be about to enter a glacial period, where the ice sheets advance.

Global warming? You'd better be far more concerned about global cooling, little liberal.

actually, you didn't support your contention. you yourself said there "may be" a glacial phase coming. pretty big if, there. or did i miss the part where your speculation counts as proof? no wonder you conservatives want to teach intelligent design - it's just more of your speculation that you seem to regard as cold hard fact.

and since you can't seem to read above a third grade level, let me explain: i never said global warming is a fact (although it is, and even bush says so). i just want to know what you conservatives plan to do if your bet that it isn't happening turns out to be false. pretty big risk, wouldn't you say? and i don't know why you think you get to ruin the planet for the rest of us. of course, don't take my word for it: 99.99% of scientists agree, and the 7 or so who don't keep getting quoted over and over in right-wing mags. take a look sometime: the same ones over and over, because they're the only ones you can find who still think it's a myth.

You haven't proven anything, especially how us ratifying Kyoto is going to change global warming since China and India, two of the fasted growing economies are completely exempt (India) or not even a part (China, already the second largest producer of greenhouse gases, and projected to be the first soon).

So "99.9" of scientists agree global warming is real, and only 7 scientists? that that it isn't?
