Homeland Under Fire From Raging Veterans

David Burge is typically known for his satirical efforts at Iowahawk, but like many great satirists before him, his work is often merely a cover for a razor-sharp wit addressing pressing social ills in a more palatable form.

In light of recent developments in the media, I've broken cover regarding my day job, which I've rarely discussed until this point, in an in-depth interview with Mr. Burge featured in his latest article, Bylines of Brutality.

Read it all, and wonder how we've allowed the problem to go on for as long as it has without getting these veterans the psychological care they so desperately need.

Sounds like the media is suffering from PTSD for being consistantly hammered for their lies an inaccuracies.

IowaHawk's post is an absolute classic of applying the NYT's own 'logic' and 'statistical analysis' to another group.

Clearly, we've got to start committing these people. For The Children™!

Remember, this is the Reality Based Community.

Just what "reality" they're "based" on is open for debate, however. Wonder what color the sky is in their "reality."

By the way, another thought just struck me.

Since I am always polite to active duty military and veterans alike, I don't really fear them all that much.

However, the anti-war types might be a bit more nervous, for obvious reasons.

It's usually a good idea to stay on the good side of people who have been trained for war.
