Kindernacht Pulled, Apparently in Disgrace

The creepy "grassroots" video of children singing Obama's praises that turns out to have been the production of Hollywood film industry professionals has proven sufficiently embarrassing to Dear Leader, and has been pulled down.

Luckily, there are at least one copy of it still online, at least until the Obama Truth Squads exert a copyright infringement threat. Watch it again while you can, because it will be disappeared soon.

And for all of you that noticed, yes, it does have freakishly obvious parallels to another disturbing cult of personality.

No thanks on the second go-round. I could only handle 90 seconds of it to begin with.

And, yes, the Cabaret reference is spot on!

One of the points we should be hammering is that Jeff Zucker was a leader in this --- the same Jeff Zucker who is President and CEO of NBC Universal.

Just in case you needed more evidence that NBC and MSNBC are in the tank.

Wow...I hope social services intervenes on behalf of these kids. This is scary.

That scene from Cabaret was the first thing I thought of when I saw that. As far as I'm concerned it's child abuse.

Ah. Sorry about that.

I'm usually the guy looking for confirmation of these things.

Different Jeff Zucker.

I hate when people try to pull crap like this. I downloaded the You Tube, converted it to WMV and MOV and posted it here:

Hey, CY, I went even further back to an actual Nazi film, where the children are singing to Hitler Our Savior: Here are the words:

Adolph Hitler is our Savior, our hero.
He is the noblest being in the whole wide world.
For Hitler we will live. For Hitler we will die.
Our Hitler is our Lord, who rules a Brave New World.

Trish: "As far as I'm concerned it's child abuse."

Richard Dawkins agrees with you: "Our society, including the non-religious sector, has accepted the preposterous idea that it is normal and right to indoctrinate tiny children in the religion of their parents, and to slap religious labels on them--'Catholic child', 'Protestant child', Jewish child', 'Muslim child', etc.--altough no other comparable labels: no conservative children, no liberal children, no Republican children, no Democrat children. Please, please raise your consciousness about this, and raise the roof whenever you hear it happening." [Dawkins, __Breaking the Spell__, p. 381-382]

Little did Dawkins know how deep into the cult of personality the modern Democratic Party has crawled.

I wonder why the McCain campaign has not latched on to this and used it to inform those on the fence the truth about Ayers/Obama 08

Posted by: Zelsdorf Ragshaft III at October 1, 2008 05:45 PM

They might have, Zeldorf. It takes time to produce an ad and get it out to the media outlets.

Case in point, the first ad on Fannie/Freddie is just now out. By the way, not to threadjack, but that's a good ad, in my mind.

Anyway, back to the original topic, give it a few days and we might just see that video in a McCain ad.

I only lasted 25 seconds.
That is disgusting.

Flashbacks: this took me back to kindergarden. Expressing our love for "Uncle Saddam," and painting tanks rolling over, and squashing, Evil Khomeini's head.

My first reaction was that this must be a spoof. No, it isn't: Jeff Zucker, CEO of NBC, is one of the producers. It is frightening. Just frightening.

Posted by: Neo at October 1, 2008 09:16 PM

Aside from the end of the cabaret video, the most frightening moment is at 1:30 when the angry girl stands up and joins in song.

Since that video was pulled, here's an equally appaling video from the Obamanation that will get your blood pressure up. Moreover, It would be funny if it weren't so disgusting.
