"I Don't Cook Food. I Will It."

I'm starting to wonder if Charlie Sheen isn't insane. Maybe this is all a bizarre game for him...

He's got a one-man show coming up. I'm now convinced that the whole thing, top to bottom, was one big Kaufmanesque performance art promotion for it.

I made the same observation at Maggie's Notebook yesterday. If he comes out in a few weeks credibly showing it was all an act, he's an entertainment genius for the ages.

If you watch his earlier videos, Charlie looks very manic. As in needing a megadose of lithium manic. I've been around people one step from "I am Jesus" before, and he fit the symptoms.

OTOH, this video is the first where I think he's not manic, just nuts. I think he's honestly making fun of himself in this video.

Now, did he just make up the previous mania? I can't tell.

Crazy and drug-addled or just maniacally crafty, ya gotta admit he's not dull.

Our local Chan 11 news out of Los Angeles spilled the beans. He is not insane, nuts, maniac, or drug-addled, it was all a rehearsed act with teleprompter and written scripts. They did a whole segment on the afternoon rehearsal before the big rant.

I think that alot of the past week was tongue-in-cheek and the rest a big eff you to people who probably needed a big eff you. And I noticed that whatever became Charlie's problem du jour with the TV psychologists, armchair and credentialed, would be emphasized in the next day's rant. The more everyone said he was manic or crazy, the more he obliged. Besides Moonves, I think they were the target of at least some of the eff yous.

During the time he was supposed to be so crazy and/or maniac and/or drug-addled, he managed to sit down with his legal team and bang out a big lawsuit against CBS, he managed to sit down with his soon to be ex and work out a custody agreement, he managed to get up and be at early morning interviews, etc, etc. Oh and he managed to increase his worth of $88 mil up to $188 mil. I should be so crazy.

Whether planned and scripted, or simply the gushings of an incredibly narcissistic immature, drug addled person, the whole performance by Sheen is totally boring.
