All You Need to Know About the Debt Deal
Only radical idiots think the debt bill accomplished anything.
It put bandage on a malignant cancer, but did nothing to stop its growth or spread.
This was and will continue to be a failure, ensuring an eventual and even greater default.
I was for the Boehner deal before I was against the mess the Senate made of it.

Not entirely true. The debt discussion has kept Fast & Furious out of sight for going on two weeks now.

What do you guys think about Herman Cain, or Ron Paul? I know about the CNP so don't bother with that.

Deals enable the governemnt to continue record spending without anyone being held accountable for voting for it. Those previous 230+ years of politicians must have been chumps for not thinking of this earlier.

I suppose reducing the US credit to junk bonds status might also suffice.
Until then the juggernaut has only one way to go, forward or bigger. The only control is "how fast". And if it's "not as fast as projected" it gets declared as money saved.
