I Am A Terrorist?

"Joe Biden and Mike Doyle (D-PA) say so:

We have negotiated with terrorists," an angry Doyle said, according to sources in the room. "This small group of terrorists have made it impossible to spend any money."

Biden, driven by his Democratic allies' misgivings about the debt-limit deal, responded: "They have acted like terrorists," according to several sources in the room.

Let me tell you something, Mike and Joe.

When I plant a bomb outside your church...

...or kidnap your peers and torture them not for what they know, but purely to cause them the maximum amount of pain, just to send a message...

...or gun down citizens in the streets in a coup d'etat...

...then—and only then—will you have just cause for calling me a terrorist.

Until then, don't confuse your mirror with a window to my soul.

Well said Yankee, well said. A fitting response to these masters of projection.

The Fed gov spends @3.5T, which is @1.5T more than it brings in (@2T) while already being 14.5T in debt. People are elected to say stop and they're called terroist.

The fed gov is unsustainable, redundant, and it needs to be reduced (@1.5T/yr). Power needs to be moved to the state/local govs which already perform most necessary functions.

There is no reason to take anything he says seriously. He has demonstrated a knack for buffoonery. If he starts arresting "terrorists" then we should be worried.

"This small group of terrorists has made it impossible to spend any money"??????
That's like saying "These pants make my ass look fat."
It's the fact that we don't have any money that makes it impossible to spend any money!!!!!
I need more duct tape.

Exactly what has anyone won? We had an extension of the debt, that we didn't want. We have had insigficant cuts to the budget, nothing real, when we wanted a sizable decrease in spending. Taxes are going up one way or another, which we don't want and which will kill any recovery to the economy. If anything is cut, it will be defense and medicare, which we didn't want. What about elimination of most of the cabinent and most regulatory agenices? What about our light bulbs? What about Obmamcare?

What you're seeing here are the extremes true believers will go to when challenged and contradicted. You're seeing the actions of fanatics faced with meaningful opposition, and it's not pretty.

They speak more of themselves when they accuse anyone of extremism, and it will come to rebound on them harshly.
