I Question His Definition of "Is"

Think Progress quotes the liberal saint of stained dresses once again showing the kind of brilliance that comes from a man whose oxygenated bloodflow goes mostly below the waist.

Clinton: 'There Is Not A Single Solitary Example' Of A Country That Has Succeeded With A Tea Party Philosophy.

Really? I think the Founding Fathers might just disagree.

Good rationalizing there. "don't try doing what you really want because it hasn't ever been done before". Instead always do what you've always done and didn't like.

Let's see what has "worked".
1. Communist dictatorships
2. Fascist dictatorships
3. Monarchies (includes all people who excercise absolute authority and intend for their offspring to follow them even if they are called "president", "chairman", or "Colonel")
4. Constitutional monarchies
5. Limited monarchies
6. Monarchies in-name-only
7. Socialist Oligarchies
8. Bureaucratic oligarchies
9. Republics
10. Committee of Public Safety
11. Theocracy

None of those have been permanent, enduring models for running a state either, though they seem to work for a while. I am willing to give TEA party-ish rule a try while the big brains in Washington are trying to come up with something better.

I think it is debatable whether "tea party philosophy" survived past Washington's 2nd term.

In a way I have to agree with Clinton, our country ended in 1860. Since then we have been in a socialstic world and definitely do not have a free society. Even the British don't think our country is much freer than a third world dictatorship.

But I still support the TEA party and want to roll back the clock 150 years.

Which explains why California, Illinois and Greece have such vibrant, thriving economies.
