Labor Union Terrorism Strikes WA State Port

union label
Thugs first, last, and always.
Hundreds of Longshoremen stormed the Port of Longview early Thursday, overpowered and held security guards, damaged railroad cars, and dumped grain that is the center of a labor dispute, said Longview Police Chief Jim Duscha.

Six guards were held hostage for a couple of hours after 500 or more Longshoremen broke down gates about 4:30 a.m. and smashed windows in the guard shack, he said.

No one was hurt, and nobody has been arrested. Most of the protesters returned to their union hall after cutting brake lines and spilling grain from car at the EGT terminal, Duscha said.

The International Longshore and Warehouse Union believes it has the right to work at the facility, but the company has hired a contractor that's staffing a workforce of other union laborers.

They committed multiple counts of kidnapping, assault with deadly weapon, assault on a police officer, vandalism, property damage, and God knows what else, because they feel they have the right to take the jobs away from other people.

Expect either a half-hearted response or not response at all from the Democratic Party, including the President.

You will not see a forceful response from Homeland Security.

You will not see a forceful response from the Department of Justice.

This is precisely the kind of violence that they condone, and why the labor union constituency that are the enforcers of the Democratic Party must not just be controlled, but utterly destroyed.

Update: Shockingly, it's co-ordinated and happening at other ports.

ILWU is claiming that the actions must be local, which would be much more credible if ILWU International President Robert McEllrath wasn't personally leading the Longview assault and union rags weren't triumphantly showing photos of him being arrested.

It's Hoffa's Army, taking those sons of bitches down. Aren't you glad for that new tone of courtesy and civility?

Did you know the facility the grain was headed to is basically foreign owned? Did you know this situation has been building for months because owners EGT continually ignored concerns of ILWU? Did you know that big grain companies had agreements to honor for the Longview community? Should we have to fight for good jobs in America? Looks like it. Did you know EGT intentionally pitted union against union? Did you know police in riot gear charged a group of peaceful protesters including women and children injuring several? These were not just union workers, but local community and their supporters. Amazingly protesters stood their ground and police retreated. Did you know this isn't about 50 jobs at a grain mill but a much bigger fight over huge corporate take overs and big business bullying. Inform yourself. Look up the ILWU website and read about The Stand. While your there notice they fundraised over 200,000 for a childrens hospital. What a bunch of thugs.

Whether right or wrong these people took a chance to stand up for everything they work for and believe to be right. The government has been talking for 2yrs. Still no answers for the job situation. Does anyone really think sitting in a room negotiating would have made a difference in this instance. It had escalated for months, with the owners of the grainery ignoring all concerns. So why not ship in other union workers willing to work for less. Remember scabs, basically the same principle just union against union. Has everyone become so whimpy we just give up a fight? Terrorism? Really? Since9/11 everything seems to be deemed the same. Just a bunch of fed up workers, community and supporters tired of being stepped on. Security guards kidnapped, or hostage? How about held to protect them in case the situation heated. Damages? It certainly got peoples attention. Like someone keying your car. Or easment issues with the neighbor. Rodney King? Riots after sporting events? Yes, sarcasim. We can all blow things up for drama. Talk to anyone involved directly? Know any of the ILWU or community supporters? Come on. They aren't a bunch of thugs, bullies and criminal mob types. Just frusterated people trying to hold onto what they have in the America struggling to stay afloat. (Hoffa??? Really??? Would you even of considered that if he never gave that ridiculously embarassing speach?)

So...

If these actions are coordinated disruptions with a political agenda involved and involve the use or threat of violence then why aren't we calling this what it most certainly is?

Terrorism.

Did you know that realityck is a longshoreman union hack? If you didn't before you certainly do now.

"They aren't a bunch of thugs, bullies and criminal mob types," says the idiot apologist 1realityck, above.

Yes; YES, they are.

You can tell what "type" a person is by what he DOES. Members of black "flash robs" are thugs. These union guys are thugs.

It really *IS* that simple.

Doofus.
