"Opponent Research" Gone Wild

You try to find pictures of one of ours in scandalous beachwear, we'll find one of yours in a mankini.

That's the "Chicago Way."

Update: Connery's character Zed pre-plagiarized Obama in this 1974 film... or perhaps anticipated his campaign's reaction to Palin's wiping him from the news just hours after his coronation in Denver:

Stay behind my aura!

You nearly owed me a new laptop on that one. Thankfully, Iearned a while back to be sure not to open your site while drinking or eating, but almost slipped up this morning -- glad I didn't

What, is this some previously unreleased James Bond movie promo photo? What's his name supposed to be? Dewey Dildrop, maybe? He looks like a neighbor I once had. Thanks for the flashback. And no- that is definitely not from Chicago. Well, most neighborhoods of it, anyway.

"not so cocky are you now, Trebek?"

OMG, that's funny!

Sean Connery in... The Village of the Damned People...

Posted by: Hucbald at August 30, 2008 12:15 PM

LOL! I didn't even recognize that as Connery! That, and despite my years, I've never seen Zardoz. I'm such a moron....

(Yah, I came over here from AoS.)

Dear God!

Every so often, I start to believe that Connery is a real actor, and begin to forget some of the things he's done for money.

I look at that photo and think... "James Bond; we hardly knew ye... and a damn good thing!"

If you do not think Sean is a real actor, review Medicine Man, or The Man who Would be King.

Now that's just rude.

Excuse me while I find a way to steel wool the inside of my eyes.

You've been hanging around your brother Phin again, haven't you... CY, if you feel the need to do that again, at least have the decency to put up a warning. Yuck.

Now just where in the hell did you find a pin up of Sen. Pelosi? I mean really Bob... huh? Sean Conn... oops... my bad! Sorry...

I often wondered if he chaffed his legs on that horse they had him riding in this goofy movie. Was it supposed to become a "cult flick" or something? It was a weird one.
