Microsoft to Buy Skype
This is not going to be welcome news to many.

Kinda bites, I have been using Skype for years, and with my brother in various deployments, Skype is great!

Skype is just passing through Microsoft on its way elsewhere. I suspect that Skype will continue virtually the same as before for at least two more years before any changes are rolled out. Microsoft is utterly incapable of integrating an operation like Skype with their divisions.
Microsoft is adrift and throwing money around in the vain hope that something will stick to the wall.
